New Romantics Music Video

The music video for "New Romantics" was originally released on Apple Music, exclusively for a few days,
but has since been released to Vevo to join her other music videos.

The video is just "post-production".
Choosing scenes from the tour.
I wanted a more imaginative videoclip for this.

I'm personally fine with the song getting a tour music video, not to keen on the Apple Music exclusivity. What I didn't like about it was that the quality didn't hold up to her past tour music videos. The film used to shoot the music video, as well as the concert film, looked weird to me. It looked like it was too bright; it just didn't have that cinematic look. I was also disappointed in the editing of the video. The dialogue during the intro I get over, but the choppy audio editing after the bridge of the song almost ruins the video.

They could have put in a little more effort to edit the song in order to make a transition between the end of the bridge, Taylor speaking, and the start of the final chorus. And considering this music video came out after the concert film, it was definitely underwhelming and not so special. A tour music video would have been much better if released prior to the release of the concert film; especially if both are going to be exclusive to Apple Music.
